RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING // RPL
AOMI acknowledges both traditional and non-traditional forms of learning as valid pathways to acquiring skills and gaining competency. RPL (recognition of prior learning) is an assessment protocol that provides acknowledgement for knowledge and skills gained through on-the-job training and work experience, prior education and training, and formal education.
AOMI recognizes qualifications and statements of attainment awarded by other registered training organizations – RTO’s.
Formal RPL indicates that you have previous qualifications that have covered the units you are applying for an RPL in.
Informal indicates industry or work experience that you have that may entitle you to an RPL in certain units.
