PERFORM BASIC SOUND EDITING (CUASOU202)
In this unit, students must use supplied DAW (digital audio workstation) software to undertake various audio-editing tasks. Digital audio theory is also explored and students cover important terminology such as dBFS, clipping, overload, AUX tracks, BUS paths, audio and MIDI tracks and much more. The unit covers the essentials of working within a digital audio workstation environment and includes exercises and assessments based on fundamental edit and mix operations.

You have a maximum of 6 months to complete a short course, however you can finish the course as quickly as you like.
All students that complete the short course satisfactorily receive a Statement of Attainment that is Nationally Recognised.
